I was able to photograph a new born baby girl. It was in a bedroom with a small next to the bed. This was rather difficult to do. Along with 6 other people in the room, telling me how to do my job. It was also very warm. The lighting was all available window lighting. I did use a reflector to force light into the other peoples faces.
When you’re taking photos of a new born baby, their are a few thing to remember. Try to do them within the 1st, 2 weeks. They wiggle around way to much after that. then I might suggest using a flash to stop all the action. you would be surprised how fast babies move. Maybe not from point A to point B, but watch the hands & feet move. This new mom & dad had their hands full. Especially when he pee all over dad:) Now that was funny.
I got a call from John O’Brien, he needed some additional photographs for his website & other media campaigns. We figured out what he was looking for, and here are just a few images we came up with. O’Brien Insurance Agency is great to work with, they are the best. I use them myself.
I’m on the board of a non profit called Via International. One of our divisions is in Voluntarism. We design projects for college students a life changing experience.
February 22, 2013 – Went down to Hilton Head South Carolina with my good friend Joe Pecoraro for a nice vacation. We’ve known each other for 31 yrs. Lost a dozen balls the 1st day but overall it was a fun week! I hope you enjoy some of the photos I took during my vacation.

On new years eve day, McLaughlin Photo did an engagement sitting at The Woods Inn, Inlet NY. Elizabeth and Will were great to work with. Can’t wait to photograph their wedding!
